Professional Summary

I am a recent graduate from UCLA receiving a double Bachelor's degree in sociology and music performance. Through my persistence in career development, my specialties have come to encompass social media management, brand development, marketing, and publicity. My passions and interests include the music and entertainment industry, as well as the digital and social world, and I am actively seeking opportunities to advance my professional experience in these fields. I am always looking for new prospects to meet professionals and bring my enthusiasm to new environments.

 

Music Bio

Pianist and vocalist Maggie Pan is an undergraduate student at UCLA pursuing a double degree in piano performance and sociology. She currently studies piano with David Kaplan, and has previously studied under Rose Chen and Daniel Cheng. An active chamber musician, she has played piano in numerous trios, winning awards from the Galante Competition, Fischoff Competition, and MTAC Concerto and Ensemble Competition. Pan has also received various awards as a soloist from the United States Open Music Competition and CMTANC International Youth Music Competition. She has performed in France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and Luxembourg with the Sound of America, as well as other notable venues such as Davies Symphony Hall, Elsinore Theatre, and CalTech's Beckman Auditorium. She also serves as the assistant music director for one of UCLA's award winning a capella group, Resonance, in which they have performed for the likes of Chris Hemsworth and Quincy Jones. Most recently, Pan was a winner of the UCLA All-Star Concerto Competition, and performed as a featured soloist at Royce Hall with the UCLA Philharmonia, the school’s flagship orchestra and one of Southern California’s premier training orchestras.
